Obituary

Stanford Michael Hildebrand, Sr., 53, died peacefully on Monday, November 28, 2011. Stan was born in Long Island, NY on February 28, 1958. In 1991 he met the love of his life, Janine Jammal and married her in 1993. They have resided in Katy with their children since 1993. Stan had a long and successful career as an IT Manager for various corporations, most recently MD Anderson. He has been active in his community coaching boy's athletics and numerous Taylor HS Band Booster activities. He and Janine are active members of the Krewe of Katy.
Stan is preceded in death by his father, Stanford Henry Hildebrand. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 yrs., Janine Hildebrand; and his three children, Stan Jr., Lindsay, and Hayden of Katy, TX; mother, Joyce Diehl of Orlando, FL, sisters, Dawn Long of Orlando, FL and Candice Hildebrand of Sugar Land, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 5:00 pm at Epiphany of our Lord Catholic Community, 1530 Norwalk Drive, Katy, TX 77450-4918.

Stan was the best husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to so many.  He is always in our hearts and is missed daily.  He sayings, jokes, and antics still keep us laughing!

JOHN JOSEPH JAMMAL, 87, died peacefully on Sunday, July 9, 2006. John was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 26, 1919 and grew up in Kansas City, MO. He served in the US Army Air Force in 1942. In 1950 he met the love of his life, Madelyne Jamail, and married her that same year. They later relocated to Houston, Texas where John was a successful auto financier, entrepreneur, and remembered for his auto dealership, Jammal Motors. John was an active member of the United Jamail Club and The Fellowship Club both of the Southern Federation of the Syrian Lebanese American Clubs. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Catholic Society. John and Madelyne received their greatest joy entertaining family and friends. He also loved bowling and playing poker. John is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Madelyne, and his parents, George and Jamela Massabki Jammal. He is survived by his seven children: sons John of San Antonio, Kevin of Malibu, CA, Dwayne and wife Loretta of Houston, Dr. Cory Jammal MD of Houston; daughters Sharon Gaylord, Janine Hildebrand and husband Stan, and Darlene McElhannon and husband Marcus, all of Houston; nine grandchildren: Peter Gaylord, John J. Jammal II, Lynnsie Jammal, George Jammal, Mark Jammal, Leila Jammal, Stan Hildebrand Jr., Lindsay Hildebrand, and Hayden Hildebrand; sisters Weda Rishmany and husband Joseph, and Rose Campbell of Kansas City, MO; sister in-law Sherlee Jamail Stigall and husband Don; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six until nine o'clock in the evening on Wednesday, the 12th of July in the Jasek Chapel at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, with a vigil service to be conducted at seven o'clock. The funeral mass will be conducted at half past eleven o'clock in the morning on Thursday, the 13th of July in the Sanctuary at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 19222 Tomball Parkway. After a reception at the church, the interment will follow in the Garden of Gethsemani at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Peter Gaylord, John Jammal II, George and Mark Jammal, and Stan and Hayden Hildebrand. Madelyne Jamail Jammal, 70, died Wednesday, November 1, 1995.  Mrs. Jammal was a native Houstonian graduating with the 1942 Class of Incarnate Word Academy.  Madelyne went on to study at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, School of Nursing.  Madelyne was an accomplished Registered Nurse.  Preceded in death by her parents, George S. and Edna Jamail and her sister Geri Ritz, she is survived by her devoted and loving husband, John J. Jammal; loving children, Sharon Gaylord and husband, Pete, John Jammal, Kevin Jammal, Dwayne Jammal and his wife, Loretta, Cory Jammal M.D., Janine Hildebrand and husband, Stanford, and Darlene Jammal; grandchildren, Peter Gaylord, John II. Lynnsie, George, Mark, and Leila Jammal, Stanford and Lindsay Hildebrand; sisters, Georgette Smith, Miriam Perkins and Shirlee Stigall and husband, Don and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Friends may call at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, where the family will be present at 6:00 p.m. for visitation.  A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive, where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 1995.  Interment will follow in the Garden of Gesemani, Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers are Stephen Stigall, Rick Perkins, Curtis and Chris Smith, Mike Faulise, Gregory and John Campbell.
